A. Schulman

Belron
Belron’s four-strong UK treasury team was confronted with two major projects for 2011, which were to implement a new IT2 Treasury Management System (TMS), and complete a refinancing that resulted in two tranches of new finance of €450m and US$250m. Bucher Industries
In 2007 Bucher developed its Treasury Vision, aiming to create a highly automated operation including selecting and implementing a new TMS to replace its current combination of automated and manual processes. After consideration of various systems IT2 was selected as the new TMS and was implemented on a modular basis – first cash management, then accounting. When Celio’s group treasurer, Suzanne Hosmans joined the company, she was faced with the requirement to deliver a ‘big bang’ treasury transformation within a very demanding timetable.
